Horse Show AwardsOHSA
show locally . . . achieve nationally! OHSA members show at local open, schooling, and 4-H shows to earn points. For each show simply submit a Competition Form signed off by the show secretary. OHSA records the points and at the end of the year we present awards. Last year we awarded over $30,000 in prizes! |
Carded JudgesOHSA is the only national organization that cards open horse show judges. Our judges can either attend one of our many partner educational institutions such as the NC State University Judge's Seminar or the New England 4-H Judge's School or they may test. We offer three levels of judges from judges just starting their career in the ring to those that are experienced. Judges with Specialty Designations help you pinpoint those with specific skills for your shows from hunters to gaited horses to ranch.

EducationEducation for our members and judges is important to OHSA. With our member and judge newsletters we allow our members to ask questions of our judges to get a better understanding of what they are looking for in the ring. Our judges share their expertise to help our members gain education and knowledge of the show world. We're excited to begin our video educational series in 2023!
